Flavor of the Ukraine

Wolski’s Ukrainian/Polish heritage adds a subtle flavor of the old world to his images. Combine this with simple moments of today’s world. Overall his style is simple yet provocative. “In my paintings I want to say the most in the simplest gesture or color. I love when someone looks at my paintings and is drawn into their own memories. Someone told me once that my work made them want to go home and paint. I think that was one of my greatest compliments.”
